	Jiangxi Jiangxin Shipyard
	Jiangxin shipyard, one of the members under China State Shipbuilding Corporation (CSSC), is located in famous city - Jiujiang at the south bank of Yangtze River and the bank of Boyang Lake, with its convenient water and land transportation, for example: There are the Railway Jingjiu and Expressway Nanchang to Jiujiang passing through and only 100 Kilometers to the Airport Changbei. Also there are many beautiful sightseeing spotrs around, which are well known both domestic and abroad, such as Mountain Lushan, Shizhongshan, the "Dragon King Palace Cave" and the porcelain capital of China "Jingdezheng". Jiangxin shipyard was founded in 1996, covering an area of 500,000 square meters with the employees and staff of 1500 persons, including 400 senior and junior technicians. The are three production lines, one for steel ships, one for aluminum alloy ships, one for fiber glass ships. There are also over 1000 sets of various equipments. Such as two 30×90m indoor slipways, one 100×30m outdoor slipway, three 60×30m outdoor slipways, one wharf for mooring and outfitting, plasma cutting machine, digital pipe bending machine, NC cutter, 400 tons oil pressure unit etc. The shipyard has the design and research department, center laboratory for material testing, welding laboratory, measuring department, computer center etc. CAD and CAM are widely used in the shipyard. Jiangxin shipyard is capable of building different type of offshore and seagoing ships below 3000DWT. It is also specialized in building various advanced warships for the navy. The shipyard has spared no efforts to develop the high-tech, high value-added products. In the recent years, it has built the fishing vessels, barges, cargo ships, tankers, traffic boats, yachts and towboat, which have obtained great reputations from both the owner and classifications. In 1996,Jiangxin shipyard has obtained the quality assurance certificate for ISO9002 for the production and service of the seagoing fishing ships. Many exporting ships have been built in Jiangxin shipyard, such as 1500DWT deck barge for Indonesia, 2800DWT palm oil barge for Singapore, high-speed patrol escort for Burundi, 52 feet GRP yacht for Hongkong, ect.
