	Jinling Shipyard
	Jinling Shipyard is located to southeast of Nanjing Changjiang Great Bridge. It was founded in 1952. Jinling SY covers an area of approximately 300,000m2, of which 26,000m2 's area is construction and launching berth. It has the ability to build vessels such as: oil tankers, chemical tankers, passenger & cargo ships, container vessels, Ro-Ro vessels, 50,000 MT float docks, submersible barges, various working ships, large push boat brigade which is under 170 meters long & 30 meters wide. The lightweight of them is not more than 8,000 tons. The annual shipbuilding capacity of the yard is about 100,000 tons. Being the Customs bonded factory, Jinling Shipyard has it's own import & export right. Its annual foreign trade volume is on the top of the enterprises of Nanjing and China Changjiang Shipping Group. Moreover it has a good production line, including steel plate pretreatment, numerically controlled cutting, automatic welding for large prefabricated flat sections. Besides, it has skill in assembly, which involves the precision mating of prefabricated floating sections without making a trimming allowance at the point. Also, Jinling Shipyard has the good techniques in corrosion prevention & special painting. The outfitting dock of Jinling Shipyard can berth 5 vessels, each with 20,000 tons grade, at the same time. In order to shorten the construction period and improve the quality of ship products, Jinling Shipyard adopted a production mode of hull constructing-fitting-painting as a whole. The mode put the hull building as basic and the fitting as key process. The yard obtained ISO9002 quality control system certificate issued by China Class Society (CCS) in July 1999. With a long record of efficient service and quality products, Jinling Shipyard has gained an enviable reputation from domestic ship owners and the customers in the United States of America, Canada, Britain, Germany, Sweden, Japan, Singapore, Indonesia, etc.
