	Zhejiang Yanfang Shipbuilding Co., Ltd.
	Zhejiang Shipbuilding Co., Ltd., formerly called Zhejiang Shipyard, originally managed by Zhejiang Transportation Board, was established in 1969. In 1984, it is subordinate to Ningbo Machinery Bureau of Ningbo Municipality. In 1989, Ningbo Ship Industry Group Company was built, in which Zhejiang Shipyard is as a leading one. Zhejiang Shipyard was awarded as the key enterprise in Ningbo in 1995, became one of Top 100 Enterprises in Ningbo in 2000, and won the certificate ISO9002 issued by China Classification Society Quality Assurance Ltd. on August of 2000. In March of 2003, Zhejiang Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. was founded. For over thirty years' effort, ZHEJIANG SHIPBUILDING CO., LTD. has become a large-scale comprehensive enterprise being capable of building various kinds of steel ships up to 75,000 DWT as well as mechanical and electrical equipment for marines and land use large size steel structure. Covering 1,200,000 square meters, now ZHEJIANG SHIPBUILDING CO., LTD. has over 1000 staff and workers including 185 technicians, 19 senior engineers and 28 engineers and possesses 812 sets of various equipment and facilities: one (1) building berth of 198m�~34m capable of building ships up to 75,000 DWT equipped with three (4) gantry cranes with capacities of 80t; one (1) building berth of 250m�~20m (in which two ships up to 6,000 DWT can be built simultaneously) equipped with two (2) gantry cranes with capacities of 30t and 60t respectively; two (2) fitting-out wharves capable of building ships 75,000 DWT and 6000DWT equipped with two (2) gantry cranes with capacities of 25t and 15t respectively.; two floating docks etc. In addition, Company is also equipped with the computer center for ship design, and autoCAD is widely used. In 1997 Company was awarded as the Science & Technique Developing Enterprise by the authority of Zhejiang Provinceand the second delivered on Jan. 6 2003; The 4250DWT Bitumen Tanker for France was delivered on Dec. 3 2002. Recently, the Company has mainly manufactured 2,200T coastal cargo ships, 2,000T product oil tankers, 5,100DWT multi-purpose containers, 405TEU multi-purpose containership for Germany owner, and 2000 m3 LPG carriers for Hongkong owner, and the steel approach bridge for 200,000T quay of Beilun Port. The Newbuildings of 4x25000DWT MPCV for Singapore, one 4250DWT Bitumen Tanker for France, one 5000M3 LPG carrier for Britain and one 4500dwt Bitumen Tanker for Switzerland are now under construction. The contracts of Two 51,000dwt Bulk Carriers for Greece and one more 4500dwt Bitumen Tanker for France have been effective in 2002. Five more 51000dwt Bulk Carriers for foreigner Owner have been contracted. The first 25000DWT MPCV for Singapore was delivered on Aug. 15 2002.
