Kouan Shipyard KASC

Domestic Trade Ministry Kouan Shipbuilding Industry Co. specializes in shipbuilding, but also deals in ship repaiting, ship breaking and steel milling. Is's capacity is now up to 100.000DWT Oil Tanker, 1200TEU Container ships, multipurpose container ships, Tugboats, car-ferries nad various refridgerator ships.
KASC covers an area of 250.000m².
The yard has two 10.000t slipways (180x24 m), which are equipped with one set of 100t gantry cranes with 52m foot span.
Further it has one 5000t slipway (130x22m)which is equipped with one set of 80t gantry cranes; one 3000t slipway (120x19m) with one set of 50t gantry cranes and one 1000t slipway which is equipped with two sets of 20t gantry cranes.
KASC products have met the requirements of the rules and regulations of CCS, ABS, BV, GL, LR and NK and the yard has passed the ISO9002 appraisement..
